Tomb Raider 10th Anniversary Edition for PSP, PC, and PS2 |
Tomb Raider: Anniversary, also known as Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition, is the next release of the Tomb Raider series. It is now confirmed by Eidos/SCi that this will be a remake of the original Tomb Raider game using the Tomb Raider: Legend game engine.
Although it will use Tomb Raider: Legend's engine, Eidos claims it will include all the original levels from Tomb Raider. New features, such as a bigger arsenal of weapons, including "Uzis", and improved interactivity with environments, have been confirmed.
The game is being developed for Sony's PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, and Microsoft Windows. The release date is set for Spring 2007, which will actually mark the 11th anniversary for the Tomb Raider series.
