Mahjong is a game that originated in China. It is a game of skill, strategy, intelligence, calculation and luck.
Depending on the variation which is played, the amount of luck may vary from 20 to 80 percent. In China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and other countries mahjong is often used for gambling.
Mahjong solitaire, also known as Shanghai solitaire, is a solitaire matching game that uses a set of Mahjong tiles rather than cards.
The aim of the game is to clear the grid by pairing up all the tiles. The game is finished when either the grid is empty, or there are no exposed pairs remaining.
