Charles Stross is a writer based in Edinburgh, Scotland, well known to Science Fiction lovers, even if his works range from SF to horror and fantasy.
He is specialized in the so called "hard" science fiction, i.e. novels with high scientific and technical accuracy. He has worked as a technical author, freelance journalist, programmer, and pharmacist, holding degrees in Pharmacy and Computer Science.
His novel "Accelerando" is now available as a free ebook under a Creative Commons license. You can download it from here as an electronic copy.
