Bask in my light
In the 4th episode of Visitors (the 2009 TV series) aired on November 24, 2009, the leader of the Visitors Anna (played by Morena Baccarin) sends the gift of Bliss to the rest of the Vs as she speaks this beautiful prayer:
No need for regrets,
for mistakes made yesterday.
The past is gone.
No looming fate,
no uncontrollable destiny.
No hunger, no sickness, no fear, no death.
Nothing ahead, nothing behind.
Just stillness.
Light, warmth.
The pain you felt,
the pain you may have caused others,
it's behind you.
No looking back,
no fear of what we come,
just the pulse of time.
Invigorating, soothing.
Bask in my light.
Take comfort knowing I am here.
You will never be alone.
The music played in the background is "Svefn-g-Englar" by the Icelandic band Sigur Rós.
