The American experimental performance artist Laurie Anderson, invented several devices for her shows.
In 1977, she created a tape-bow violin that uses recorded magnetic tape on the bow and a magnetic tape head in the bridge. The second video Zero And One is from her amazing 1986 concert film Home of the Brave.
