Writing for the people or for Google?

The quote of the week, not too encouraging

Writing for the people or for Google? The quote of the week, not too encouraging

I've just heard the quote of the week today:

"I used to write for people, now I write for Search Engines".

Well, that could be quite sad but also true in some cases.

In a few years the scenario completely changed: if some time ago the Search Engines were trying to understand how the Web works to index it at their best, now it's the Web that tries to understand how the Search Engines work, to be indexed at its best.

Well, not all of the Web for our luck :-)
