How to remove the 'Press Esc to exit full screen mode' message? |
How can you remove the annoying: 'Press Esc to exit full screen mode' message in flash videos every time you go full screen? Given that sometimes the Esc warning doesn't disappear at all on some systems!
Well, you only need a hex editor to modify the Flash DLL.
For patching Flash 10.0.45.2 :
Step 1)
For Firefox/Safari/Opera, open the file:
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll
in a hex editor, and go to address 0x722FD.
For Internet Explorer, open the file Flash10e.ocx in your hex editor, and go to address 0x72461.
Step 2)
Check that bytes are:
0F 84 F2 00 00 00
and change them to:
E9 F3 00 00 00 90
That's all!
