The Greatest Science Fiction Singer

Sorry Lou, we're not worthy!

As you may know, and as you know for sure if you have read Geolocation changes everything, nowadays people can even find their ideal (and not too far away :-) dating partner with these GPS gizmos that are around. And as you also know, those wonderful location-aware phones make good use of a network of satellites.

Well now, for the first time, I can understand the full meaning of the song "Satellite of Love" by Lou Reed, the second single from his 1972 solo album "Transformer". Back in 1972 he had already figured out everything! He must be the Greatest Science Fiction Singer ever! (sorry Lou :-)
What a great song! Some of the background vocals are from David Bowie!!!

Let's listen to it, but not to the original version: let's watch the wonderful cover by Eurythmics, recorded live at the Heaven in London in 1983.

I love to watch things on TV the Internet!
