Carnac (Karnag in Breton) is located on the south coast of Brittany, France.

The pre-Celtic people of Brittany erected here more than 3,000 standing stones from local rock, in the Neolithic period. According to the legend, they stand in such perfectly straight lines because they are Roman soldiers, turned into stone by Merlin.

The marker on this map shows the plane's position.
