The Wasserkuppe (German for "water peak") is the highest peak in the Rhön Mountains.

Between the first and second World Wars great advances in sailplane development were made there, when the Treaty of Versailles restricted the production and use of powered aircrafts in Germany.

This beautiful (beautiful!) video (and the soundtrack as well!) is by Penneyfour.
