Defying Visitors and ABC

As you may know, ABC recently canceled Defying Gravity, after the first season. The last episodes did not even air in the U.S.

Well, to promote the Nov. 3 debut of "Visitors", ABC had the ambitious plan to cover the skies of major U.S. cities with giant red "V"s, but after Washington Post reporter Lisa de Moraes wrote a column estimating the amount of pollution the skywriting campaign would cause, the plan was scrapped.

IMHO Lisa is just a *huge* Defying Gravity fan and that was a vengeance for the cancellation of that show. Well done Lisa, i loved DG (R.I.P.) too!
